My approach
I believe that the most important stories are the ones we tell ourselves. At times in our lives, these stories can cause us to get stuck, be led off course, or feel overwhelmed by our emotions. I see therapy as a space to understand and explore the impact of our thoughts, beliefs, and actions on our emotional experience. Through this exploration, you can gain a greater understanding of yourself and learn valuable skills to improve your mental health. I aim to work collaboratively with my clients to help them engage in this process and to achieve meaningful and lasting change.

I value the use of evidence-based treatment strategies and primarily work from a cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) approach.

My practice is inclusive, anti-oppressive, 2SLGBTQ affirmative, and trauma-informed. I have experience with and enjoy working with clients who are queer and clients who are in open or non-monogomous relationships. I actively work to adapt therapy to clients' identity and cultural needs and invite conversations about how discrimination and oppression impact mental health.

I provide therapy in brief, short-term, and long-term formats according to your goals.
I offer a space where people can share their feelings without judgment, and feel heard and understood by someone who cares.
My experience
I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I received my PhD in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) in 2019. I completed my residency at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, and have trained in various settings including at St. Michael’s Hospital, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, Toronto Metropolitan University, the University of Toronto.

My research on cognitive factors related to chronic worry and its treatment has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.

In addition to my private practice I work as a Consultant in the Ontario Structure Psychotherapy program at CAMH where I provide training and consultation in cognitive behaviour therapy.
